Not all phones are to get kit kat. The original droid razr and razr maxx ( not to be confused with Droid Maxx) are not scheduled to receive kit kat 4.4.
There is an update going around for 4.1.2 right now and it does not affect foxfi. It's a minor update and really is only for a roaming issue and something else minor that I cant remember.
If you are on a share everything plan, none of this matters much to you anyway. But if you are on an old unlimited data plan, and use foxfi you don't want to update to 4.4 kit kat.
Supposedly if you disable motorola services in your manage apps settings it will stop giving you update notifications. I have already received the notification for the 4.1.2 update on my phone. But didn't update yet, I have since disabled motorola services. I will let you know if it stops the notification or not. I kinda doubt it will since I already received the download, just didn't install yet.
The disabled motorola services did not stop the update notification. But like I said, I didn't expect it to, because it had already downloaded on my phone. I just haven't installed it yet.
