future small printer

Watching TV the other day and saw a printer that was invented. It is about the size of a coffee mug and you just placed it on top of a sheet of paper and when you asked your computer to print it started moving printing the page from line to line. Pretty darn neat but I cant find anything on it but im sure I havent entered a proper search. Anyone else saw it?

Edit: Just found it! Zuta Printer
  • I wonder how close to the edge of the paper will it print. With the example the video showed, the edge of the printer was nearly at the edge of the paper.

Yes, it is small, it is also slow and I bet it costs a fortune to keep it running. As my coach has been my office and meeting room for much of its life, we still carry a color printer/copier/scanner.

    A lot cheaper than 199$us.

  • I'll stick with my laser printer, thanks.

The thing is small & portable but man is it slow!
  • I'm guessing like most printers the ink will cost more then the printer after one year.

  • I've never seen or heard of them, they are cool.
I'll wait to buy one when they're on sale for $59.95, or less.
