Garmin 760LMT......Any opinions?

Getting ready to buy one, making our two month trip to Utah and visit with our son and family. First trip for our new 5th wheeler and will be taking the grandkids to some National Parks, figured it was time for a new GPS. The reviews seen good on the 760 as do the options.....Need to know what you guys/gals think about it...
Thanks, Jim

Since I am frequently looking for addresses when not camping I use it almost every day at home and most certainly when camping.
  • We've used one for a little over two years, now. It has worked well except for one occasion... In central Texas last year, it turned a 1-hour trip into almost three - and wanted us to drive "off-road" the last few miles to get to our destination. I've since learned to use the Routes function and look closely at how it's going to route us. Since it usually offers several choices, it gives me more control, anyway, and we've not had any more problems. No GPS is 100% fool-proof, though, and - even if you enter the parameters for your rig - you still need to be aware of low bridges and overpasses and double-check your routes.
