Garmin RV 760LMT any Usage Findings
I have been thinking about upgrading to the RV 760 and wanted to know if anyone has any real world usage findings. It looks good on the Garmin site.

You know what would be nice is if GPS's had a "direct route" mode. To me that would cure a lot of the routing issues..We have "Less Gas" "Fastest Time" or "shortest Distance" Most people use fastest time, sure the GPS most likely save us 4 seconds in that mode, but the direst route would be nice
I understand "Direct Route"! My GPS will, instead of going straight to the corner and making a left on main two roads, take me on a zigzag route of side streets that gets to the same spot in what it thinks is two seconds less. Shorter or faster is not always easier - and easier is usually the direct route. On my last trip the GPS had me get off an interstate and onto a country road that went up and down hills instead of going to the next exit on the interstate and getting off at the exit to arrive right at the exact same spot as the country road eventually led me to. I would rather drive flat and straight for the extra minute on the "direct route".
