- scrndoorExplorerWell it turned on this morning when I plugged it into my computer, go figure!! Must have needed charging as everyone mentioned. Many thanks everyone for your replies.
- Chuck_thehammerExplorerGarmin does have good Service...but Call them..
it is possible the last time you used the GPS you put it into sleep mode and NOT OFF.. draining the battery.. charge it..
if still not turning On.. call them.
good luck
I am fighting with myself..
I have a Garmin 2597LMT... and wanting a RV760... now that I have a travel trailer. - Mountain_MamaExplorerI thought may Garmin died this summer, too, but the battery was just down. Hope this is your only problem, too. Just one word of advice. If you find it is not the problem & it is a warranty problem, do not submit problem online!! Call them as suggested. My first one went on the blink & I learned the hard way! Good luck!

I tried that Paul, still not working! Darn it all!
Sounds like you just need to leave it connected to charge up the battery on the unit for a 1/2 hr. or longer if this the very first time you have used the unit. When my battery is completely drained, I can just plug the unit into my cigarette batt charger and it will continue to operate and will charge up the batt. Or call the 800# for tech support, they are great. - scrndoorExplorerI tried that Paul, still not working! Darn it all!
- Paul_ClancyExplorerConnect to a charge cable and hold power button down for 10 secs or so.
