Thanks for taking the time to do that. We actually stay south of there off princess anne rd. We stay at North Landing Beach campgrounds. Been there the last 2 years & the kids have a blast there. They have a "beach" although it's fresh water & we're only about 15-20 minutes from Sandbridge beach which is far less crowded than Va Beach. We're going down on a Tuesday & leaving here early so we'll be making that Richmond to Va Beach leg ~2ish I would estimate so I'm hoping traffic won't be too terrible. At least not as bad as rush hour. My main issue with that drive is the people drive way too fast through there & the roads beat you to death after the tunnel.
