I wouldn't have been able to either. I full time also, but I just bought a winter home here in Florida. Started hating the full to the top CG's down here during the winter.
So for the time being I have the luxury of a dedicated computer area. I'm really not that cheap! I'll be getting a new laptop soon just need to research a bit more to make sure I buy a good one.
I am starting to wonder if it is planned obsolescence on the part of the manufacturer of laptops or just having to build them cheaper to get their spot in the marketplace?
BI - before the iPhone laptops lasted pretty darn long! Now they cost more to fix them than to buy a new one.
I still have the very first laptop I bought used off the internet and it still works great! It's an IBM ThinkPad. Still in the overhead in the MH......only thing is I can't remember the password to it.:S
