Today I went to a moving sale and scored a 'brand new' keyboard and mouse for a whole 2 bucks!
New laptop for $400 or $7 bucks to make my dead laptop screen into a pc? It was an easy choice! :B
Yup, if you like antiquated hardware and software, it is readily available and cheap.
