Suddenly, for no reason, my Gmail accounts reverted to Portuguese. Although I can easily revert it back to English during the session, next time I go to my Gmail, it's back to Portuguese again. IIRC, ...

Are you using a VPN? I have seen language and measurement units change routing thru different countries.
Agree with all re de-googleing (and de-Anythinging that sells your personal data. all you gmailers are aware that google reads and harvests info in all your gmails, right?).
