GPS App ?

My old factory rebuilt Tom Tom has finally had it. Last trip out I had the old girl laying on a folded towel on the dash trying to find her way. My wife ran her I-phone GPS in tandem and it both worked well and gave better directions than the old TomTom. My question is, is there an APP for RV's that will work on my Android? I'm sure there are many, so let me rephrase, is there an APP that works WELL with RV's and doesn't cost a small fortune?
  • I have and use google maps on my smartphone as a gps on occasion. The problem is that it uses a lot of power, and the phone needs to be attached to a charger or it will quit pretty quickly. Also, you need cell service and data access to download map details. It works, but with limits. A good GPS unit has its maps already loaded, and only needs to be able to see the GPS satellites.
