This is, basically, what I was told by an agent yesterday, which sparked this thread. Today I was told that my two other phones still had 15 Gb of Hotspot data available.
In the past, 15 Gb per line seemed to be the way it worked for me.
The new Verizon "unlimited plans" limit the amount of data that can be used by ALL of the lines on your plan, not the amount of data used on each phone. That's 22Gb of shared data but only 15Gb of data on a MiFi device. If you hit the limit on the MiFi you are subject to "Network Optimization" which does not mean you "will" be throttled but rather that you may be throttled based upon the network usage on your particular tower. Once you go beyond 22Gb of total usage on your plan then all devices are subject to Network Optimization. If you are in an area with a lot of users you will likely suffer badly. If you are in Quartzsite during the Summer you will likely not notice much of a difference.
