HDMI from room to room

Does anyone have a solution for passing HDMI to HDMI cable from through a wall without having to drill a giant hole? I know I can convert it to a lower grade signal but I would like to keep the HDMI quality.

I know there are expensive transmitter/receiver devices that can do this but I would rather stay cheap.

Thanks

  • There are HDMI wall plates for that purpose. You still have to cut a hole in the wall, but the plate doesn't look any worse than an electrical outlet.

There is a "mini HDMI" connector which would require a smaller hole that you can use..

    AMAZON SEARCH

You will of course need a mini HDMI to HDMI adapter to get the cable end back to standard HDMI size..

Converting to a lower grade signal but keeping HDMI quality is a contradiction in terms, but you are already aware of that.

Running the wire (through a hole) or wireless are about your only options.
