my only TV has 3 hdmi inputs, so i haven't needed one
By golly that worked, Thanks! The one thing that I had to add was to pull the plugs on the main TV and Wally. I believe that they, even when off, sends a trickle of current to the splitter not letting it completely reset. To make it easier, I'll try to find a small power strip with individual switches.
