I'm always the first at buying the latest coolest travel stuff, but this is a headphone for sitting on a jet trying to mute out the engines. If you can afford them great, they do what they say better then any that I have found. But the QC series were created for flyers. You can do a hellofa lot better in a ground based consumer class these days. There are lots of products out there for less than $300
