Help with Microsoft Security Essentials on Windows 7 Pro

Microsoft Security Essentials started acting squirrely on my Windows 7 Professional machine. Loading sometimes, or not. Icon not appearing on task bar. I tried to uninstall it with the control pane...

Sounds like you picked up a virus or at the very least a UP.

1. Open control panel.
2. Open Backup and Restore
3. Click on Recover settings on your computer.(middle bottom of page)
4. Open System Restore and follow the prompts....good luck...Dennis
