Verizon system is more closed, than AT&T or T-Mobile
Only phone models that were released by VZW are allowed on the system
You might be able to bring over an Alcatel phone that is the same model as VZW phone
But not an off brand virtual carrier, using AT&T service
Besides VZW is phasing out old technology, so old 2g 3G phones are not being allowed on new activations
