On most Windows machines when you copy files to the CD to burn it will ask if you want to burn as a Music CD or as an MP3 (computer data).
The problem is that Windows may also respect digital copy protection.
(In the old days I had more ways around that than I can count but that is because I'd Digitally record my daughter playing and Windows would "Protect" it for me).
But I've not had any issues with the stuff I have tried to burn lately and this is a different (windows 10) computer. (Make that 8.1. Have not tried to burn a music CD under 10) There are many CD and DVD authoring programs on the net.
