Hello,Wondering if anyone has encountered something such as this: We have been staying at Lake Pleasant RV Park in Bothell, WA for over a month. We have been shuffled and moved around the park to different spots 14 times!We were told this used to be a well-run and managed park, but new management has taken over and it is a nightmare. The management in the park does not know how to operate the reservation's software and so, just "wings it". As a result, double-bookings, overbookings, lost reservations and the "musical rv" game ensues.We must be here due to medical treatment in the area. Can anyone advise? Can anything be done? The owner is on site and knows of the problems in the front office. Yesterday, there was a fight between two RVer's over one spot. I can't believe it and have never encountered anything like this. The entire park is frequently shuffled around to make room for incoming RVer's because someone in the office double booked. Crazy!! We won't be returning to this park.

If you reserved your site for the proper length of time, or were told the site was available for the period of time you wanted when you checked in, they should not be making you move.

I've never encountered anything as extreme as what you are experiencing. However, I have seen people bumped from more desirable spots to the back forty in some circumstances. For example, if the campground has a camper who on an annual basis reserves a beachfront spot for a specific date range, you may be able to occupy that spot before they get there, then get moved out. With that said, there is no logical explanation for being moved 14 times.

Yes there is something you can do and that is go elsewhere.

And I thought it was about outdoor speakers.No excuse for that nonsense, that's just crazy.

There's a reason RV's have wheels, use them to go to a different park.

We've moved once if we overstayed a reservation but never anything close to 14 times.

After the 2nd or 3rd, the next time I would be out of there.

Nope you can't help them they are idiots! Your options are to continue playing musical RV or find another RV park.

It really depends on how you booked your stay as to whether or not the park is at fault. If you booked your entire stay and weren't told at that time the park is nearly completely booked and you would have to move sites, there is absolutely no excuse. If you are taking a day or two at a time because you don't know how long you are needing to stay, that is on you and you may very well have to move often.
We try very hard to do right by all of our advanced reservations. That means keeping them in the same site. That means those who make early reservations get the best sites. That means being aware of all their special requests such as being near the bathrooms, the dog park, a pull thru etc. Often that means the last minute arrivals have very limited choices and have to fill in the vacant spots that are scattered about. We wouldn't inconvenience a guest who made their reservations months in advance to accommodate a drive up, no matter how long either was staying.

I'm sorry your situation is so bad, especially since you're there for medical treatment at a Med facility. Have you shared your medical situation with the owner? It seems to me that the owner should handle your case personally as I'm sure the constant moving isn't helping your medical situation.

When we stayed at a campground near a med facility for treatment, we notified the manager/owner why we were there and how important it was to have help. They were gracious, and would often ask after us during our month long stay.

We had a similar thing happen at Difficult Campground (no kidding) near Aspen -- the operators could not figure out how to run their software. But that was a forest service campground, with volunteer hosts in their late 70s. (Delightful folks, but not tech savvy.)

In a private RV park, there is no excuse for this.
