1. Go to the page you'd like to use by typing it's address in the address bar. For example, google.com.

3. Click on "Internet Options"

If you want to get rid of the Bing tool bar, do the following:
1. Click on "tools"
2. Click on "toolbars"
3. Uncheck Bing Bar.
These instructions are for later versions of Internet Explorer (IE). There will be a menu that will drop down from the (most likely) left corner of the search box at the top of the browser to change the default search engine.
