Hi all,I'm quite happy with win 7.The program that removes the W10 upgrade is called GWX Control Panel. You should download it from a website called Ultimate Outsider. It is on other websites but some of those websites will install spyware with the download.http://ultimateoutsider.com/downloads

You can do a simple removal of one of the Windows Updates and you'll get rid of the notification of Windows 10. No need to run an outside program. I've deleted the update and have seen neither hide nor hair of the insistence to upgrade to Windows 10. I'm running W7 and intend to do so for a while yet.

Hi Howard,That solution has worked in the past--but the ball game may have changed as of Feb 1, 2016.The download for the win 10 "upgrade" is 6 gigs so if you are a full time rv relying on cell coverage for internet service it may blow a hole in the budget, too.

I have auto-update shut off, and I always check out any updates, so I should be good for a while. This whole deal with W10 sucks any way you look at it.
