I am not sure you could stream 4 DVD's with the laptop.
YOU might be able to connect the 4 DVD players one each to the tablets, most of them can run USB stuff but frankly I do not know.. If Droid check V-Player or MX player they seem to be the most flexible and thus most likely to play a DVD.
(unless there is a dvd player for it)
Problem is that the DVD drive will eat the tablet's battery.. A powered hub may take care of that (one per tablet)
Frankly.. i'd go with ripping all to a computer and then set the computer's Wi-Fi adapter up as an Ad-hock device, but that takes skills you may or may not have.
