If You Had To Buy A Tablet ?

If you had to buy a tablet, other than Apple, for less than $300, what would you buy? Use would be for book reading, watching saved movies, playing solitaire type games, internet and email.

Thanx

  • I have both and IPhone and an IPad to go with my Microsoft laptop. both "I" products work quite well and are easy to use until I want to use files from the laptop such as word or excel files, and then it's a pain. If I were in the market for a tablet I'd certainly give the Microsoft products a look.

Not sure why the aversion to the Apple products. For my money, I'd be buying a used Apple at that price point rather than considering the other offerings.
I would not use an Apple if you gave it to me. Everything on an Apple seems difficult, clumsy and backwards to me. It is just a Ford/Chevy thing.

Be sure to check out the deals on HSN and QVC... They have the best packages and also a real good no charge pay plan...

  • RCA Maven 11. 11.6 inch screen, android 5.? OS, under &150 AT Walmart Online. Fast, WIFI, Bluetooth connectivity. Detachable keyboard. 32gb internal memory.

    Best for Price tablet.
  • I have an iPad. Key board is pathetic. No GPS unless you go cellular. It won't let you set browser default. I had a Samsung and took it back for the iPad. But, the Samsung is now a nicer unit then I tried. I would probably go with Samsung or Kindle.

  • I'm using a Samsung Tab 4 (Nook) 16 GB right now.

I find it easy to use with the Android 5 OS

I think you can get one for less than $200, but that's for the WIFI version.
