I'm shopping for IP cameras and I have questions.

Is it possible to use the wifi at a campground to enable the viewing of an IP camera in my RV while away from the RV park? In other words, if I'm at a McDonalds 10 miles away from the park, can I go o...

thats the point of it, there is no config, you do nothing on the firewall.

FYI you don't need a static ip either, a dynamic ip from a ISP is fine,

simply sign up for a dynamic dns account like, noip.com and you can point to that.


the down side of the "phone home" camera's is if the company goes under or decides to kill the service. the camera's will probably be worthless
