We need an internet booster to improve the performance of our Verizon connection. Suggestions? Where to purchase?

If you are talking about in a campground, and you are out of reach of good coverage signal strength where you are, what is the possibility of placing a standard booster like I got at walmart for about $60 in a vehicle with 120 adapter and park it half way between your RV and wifi source? might work more than 1/2 way away from source?
