iPad mini 2 0r 4
my wife would like a new tablet. have looked at Samsung, but also the iPad mini. there are two models the 2 and 4. the 4 is a little faster. any thoughts

I've loved iPads since I purchased the first model when they came out in 2010. I've owned four different models including a mini. Although with my eyes, I prefer the original size iPad (9.7") because it's easier to see, I suggest buying the best iPad you can afford. A newer model (4) with faster processor may be more expensive initially, but it will last longer as newer apps come out.
If you don't notice the speed differences between the two on iOS10, you will on future updates. Don't skimp on RAM either. Don't go less than 32g
