Maybe I am old fashioned. I liked the size of the iPhone 4. While the iPhone 5 and 5S are great, as well as my HTC One M8... there is something about having it easily go into a pocket.
However, there is one reason Apple and Android makers are going with bigger screens, and it has nothing to do with the consumer. The new quad core ARM chips do more, so they make more heat... and the larger phones have more surface area to dissipate the heat from the faster cores.
