That's not really a solution in this case. The problem is the iPhone 7 doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack, like the one this BT receiver uses. It has a single Lightning connector.
Connect Phone to that device via Blutooth and use the phone's Lightning port to charge. Connect the device above to any of her favorite 3.5mm wired headphones.
