BTW, I have Dish in my MH with a Vip211 receiver that I move from my house to the MH and have a Winegard Pathway X1 which woks great off my 400watt inverter. The X1 sat has 2 connections for another receiver, but we only have the living area one connected a HDMI cable running out to the outdoor TV if I want sat out there. Just need to change HDMI cables to receiver.
But getting back to my friend, His old receiver shows sat 101W on the screen and I'm sure his old dish can only get one sat at a time. Best case scenario would be if Directv sends him an HD receiver free and he only has to buy a digital to analog convert. Then hope all the channels are still available when it's switched.
