- Steve_83406Explorerand, if your antenna is more than 3 years old, you might just replace it. I was having receiving issues with my old Starmate III that has a lifetime subscription on it, and Sirius told me to just replace the antenna. I use those little magnetic dot antennas and a new one made all the difference
- SCVJeffExplorerHow old is the radio? Some of the older receivers are real dogs. Sirius tends to work a little better in the northern area foliage too do to the orbital path of those satellites

Can you get stronger antennas or boasters?
A new antenna should be fairly inexpensive.
What kind of antenna do you have now ?
Have you tested the connections ?? - BumpyroadExplorerI have the standard magnetic antenna that I use on the roof of my truck or dashboard of my SUV and there are a few areas with tall trees on the right side where mine blacks out momentarily. don't think a booster will change that.
bumpy - donn0128Explorer IIIf its a factory antenna get an aftermarket magnetic mount antenna off ebau and try it.
- GordonThreeExplorerBooster? Probably, but I doubt it's practical.
An external antenna would serve you better. is your radio after-market or OEM?
