Last I read Verizon abandoned their recent plans to throttle non contract devices.
I bounce around between many cell towers throughout the day. Some towers are significantly faster than others. Some towers handle VPN better than others. Some towers have lower signal strength than others. At my wifes work, she has great signal strength to the tower. Her 4g speed is really slow.
