I agree with this. There are plenty of decent external speakers that won't break the bank. Or buy a small sound bar. Even with decent brand TVs people complain about poor speaker sound.

Its Jensen. You will be replacing it at some point though.

With us it was not only the sound.

Didn't really like the sound on our Tv in the bedroom. Got a cheap computer powered speaker set and plugged it in the ear phone jack. I was surprised how much better it sounds, even better than the living room tv. . Price FREE. There a a gazzilon of those speaker sets laying around. No sense of scrapping a tv cause of the sound when you can fix it for free. Unless ya got money to burn.

Had same problem. Replaced speaker with one of there own. Ended up junking the Jensen. Replaced the TV with a Visio for about $300.0. That Jensen runs about $1000.0 what a piece junk. replace rear Jensen also.

Take the Jensen out, put a FREE sign on it, and buy something decent. Rebooting a TV? Never heard of it.
