Just how much damage will I do to my speakers or DVD
How bad is it to hook a surround sound receiver that came with 3 ohm speakers to the 6 ohm speakers that are built into my MH?

As stated no damage, Some loss of power. Possibly some loss of fidelity at either high or low frequency (I forget which).
With solid state amplifiers such as the ones in your RV, some years ago they started making them very low impedeance out,, That way you could use 4, 8, or 16 ohm speakers and all you really lost was power.
So using 6 ohm speakers on a 3-ohm amp.. NO PROBLEM.
The reverse. may cause problems.
