Depends on the model of King Dome, most can be set for what ever provider you want to use. Some have a series of switches inside the dome you set to pick the provider (Dish or Direct). Others you use the on/off switch in a set sequence to select the provider. With out knowing the model of dome it's hard to say, but if you can set the provider initially then you can change it later.
