Others you use the on/off switch in a set sequence to select the provider. With out knowing the model of dome it's hard to say, but if you can set the provider initially then you can change it later.
King Dome does not use switches. That's Winegard. If it is a recent KD in-motion antenna there will be a digital display inside. You use this to set the antenna for Dish with the correct setting being Dish 1000 (or maybe just 1000 or similar). There is also a 1000a setting which is the EA satellites and may be necessary in some of the Eastern US.
Some of the older KD models will either use a KD keypad to reprogram or, if it is old enough, can no longer be used with Dish due to recent changes by Dish.
