KVH A9 or RV1?

I like the low profile of the KVH A9. Has anyone installed it? Someone recommended to only buy the RV1 because if it rains while stationary the A9 will collect water and the signal will be poor. ...

Due to KVH poor after sale support, I wouldn't buy either one.
