KVH Tracvision R5SL In Motion
We have a KVH Tracvision R5SL In Motion roof mounted dome that we have been using to receive DirecTV since we started fulltiming almost 7 years ago. It has worked without issue except for needing an AC power supply added in 2009. That is until today.
It worked fine when we parked 3 weeks ago but when we turned it on today, the indicator light came on but it never started to search for the sat. No sound of movement at all. Anyone have any suggestions where to start to troubleshoot this? I disconnected the input lines from the dome and connected our portable dish outside and everything is working fine that way. I'm thinking possibly a fuse but wonder where it could be located since the indicator bulb is still lit. That seems to mean that there is power at least that far down the line.
