Legend TV

Camping near Rehobeth beach Delaware. Used tv this morning with no problem. Went to go out for morning and wanted to let the dog watch TV while we were gone and only a red light came on. Using power button or remote, the power light will not turn green and tv will not come on. Is it shot and a trip to Wal-Mart in my future? Any help appreciated.

  • Once you have it on and can see it
Go thru the menus maybe setup
Look for anything to do with
    Access, personalization, touch screen, etc..
  • Loose connection? Make sure everything is tight. Otherwise, a new 32" TV can be had for around $200 these days, if not less.

Our Cyclone came with two Legends. Not the worse TV's I have seen, but nothing to brag about.

Thanks for all your suggestions. So we packed up to leave this morning and tv still wasn't working but green light was on. I touched the screen to push it back into its place to secure it and BINGO...the picture comes up and its working. Turned it off, used remote to turn it on, green light lights up, again., .no picture just black screen. Touched the screen with finger....picture appears! Any idea????

    it might need a Re-Boot
    ---------------------------------------
And it mite need the big boot !
  • A Legend is a cheep Chinese TV . Just like the 40" that came in our fifth wheel that broke after 1 year.
  • Is this a multifunction remote, multi device remote
Look for a button that says TV
Press that button first then try the power button

Also the TV still has manual buttons on the side or the bottom

    Try those

Our Vizio TV remote had a row of buttons at top DVD cable TV
To select what will be controlled
  • Thanks, will try that. In the meantime pulled out the 19 inch from under the bed, but I may need to move my recliner halfway across the trailer to see it! Lol.
  • check your line voltage, make sure the TV plug has 120v

unplug for 10 minutes, and plug it back in

    it might need a Re-Boot

everything digital is a low grade computer
and some times needs a re-boot

your TV has more computing power than the Apollo moon capsules
