- GordonThreeExplorerIf you haven't used a tiny pc, you don't know what you're missing. I've been moving my business users over to them for two years now, and they're a great space saver. The screen and keyboard can't be shrunk down. Everyone with old eyes wants the bigger screens. However, the computer - they can be shrunk down.
A laptop is next to useless at a desk, the screen is tiny, the keyboard clumsy.
A desktop, no longer needing the ancient optical or floppy discs or the huge mechanical hard drive can be very small and efficient.
Now, in the RV - I can see this having little relevance. My RV has two dedicated tiny computers, they don't have or need displays. But I'm a nerd. - mr__edExplorerI agree with Mr. Wizard, who posted further up in this thread. The necessity of having to use an external display and keyboard. would be a deal killer for me. I find my laptop and iPad more convenient to use. Besides, I, like many others don't own a PC setup with separate components, so that little device would be essentially useless, cute as it is. :)
- bdosbornExplorerI have a Gigabyte Brix I use as a Plex server in our camper.

It's not the cheapest option and it's a DIY kit, but it only draws about 15W and will run on 12V. I use a carnetix CNX - P1290 PSU to provide regulated 12V to the PC and a LCD TV. Its not very snappy but it will run Plex well enough to transcode to one device. I have three 2TB USB drives connected to it for media storage. A wireless keyboard and built in wifi makes it a nice HTPC.

- GordonThreeExplorerOverblown or not, when the US State Department recommended not buying the brand, that's enough for me.

Lenovo has an impressive hardware catalog. If only I could trust them when they say they're no longer putting non-removable spyware into system firmware.
Lenovo is a Chinese company but has a large US presence. You might want to understand a little more about it as a company since a good part of its PC development is US based. See Lenovo in the United States
I have a Lenovo laptop and desktop now, the last in a long line of PCs/laptops I have had of the Lenovo brand and IBM before that. I have never had any ill affects from the so called spyware that seems to be overblown in the articles I have seen. It's more likely that bios code put in to support maintenance had some unintended consequences. In any case, I have no concerns with Lenovo products. - GordonThreeExplorer

Also for those that want a full functioning tiny Win-10 computer, Lenovo makes these. I have bought several of these and installed them for friends who have been quite pleased with their size.

They will also mount to the back of a display. - GordonThreeExplorerFull blown powerful, tiny computers.
HP Prodesk 400 desktop mini, about 8 inches square by an inch thick.
Intel NUC Kit, even smaller just as powerful. - Ed_GeeExplorer IISeems to me that looking for a mini Windows 10 PC and then needing display, keyboard, pointing device, and all the interconnecting cables, etc., is illogical. Why not get a Microsoft Surface or similar windows type tablet and have it all in one small package?
