As far as CC versus debit/cash, I agree, but OP wasn't really squawking about that. Besides which, passing the loss onto the credit card company doesn't sound like the right thing to do either.
The CC just charges it back to the company that scremed you. It is part of the merchant agreement. As I said I AM NOT A FAN of CW and hopefully will never have to do business with them again but sometimes we need to be protected from scams and incompetence that where the CC comes in. They cheat you, you complain to an entity that will help you and move on.
I learned my lesson about dealing with Cw and quickly moved on with my life.
CW cheated me in their service department and I get even every time I do business with some other company. About 3 years now.
