The company makes more money selling warranties, insurance, roadside assistance, service and parts....
...and they don't even do this well. They could make so much more money and have less debt if they just improved their customer service and reputation in these areas.- He is running a business by today's rules.
Doesn't require that we like it. Frankly, I don't like the way most businesses are run today.
His 'empire' includes a lot of things - including supporting these forums - which ain't cheap.
Everytime you log on here - you help make his business model work to his advantage. - Thanks for posting Old-Biscuit. I have no reason to look in the class A section so I would have never seen the other post.
- CW is no different than any other car dealership in that they are not in the business of selling cars. They want to sell you the car with financing, extended warranties, service plans, service. McDonald's makes no money on hamburgers but makes a fortune on fountain drinks. I would not discount the ability of CW to make money and have their stock grow. It may not however be one of those stock you buy and forget.
