free version. I follows the directions,it found a whole bunch of malware,which I deleted. After shutdown & reboot, I deleted Browsing History,Cookies and so on and the stupid multiplying pages are gone.

I suggest you learn how to do a system restore just in case you have worse problems in the future. It's easy to do and very effective.
