What part of "No contract" do people not understand? It seems to me that would apply to all parties involved; Verizon can raise their price to a reseller, Millinicon can pass the cost on to the consumer (or not), the consumer can go elsewhere (minus $165) for their service. As for the price increase, Verizon may have concluded that they were in effect subsidizing their competition and losing customers in the process. They may need to adjust it again.
