Verizon's charge for 20 gig IS $150.00, but you get the ability to use this data from your smart phone, not only through the wifi device regardless of who you get it from. I use close to as much data while remote as I do from my RV therefore I use the Verizon data plan via my smartphone/hot spot. I costs me a little bit more per month, but I don't have buy a wifi device and I only use the hotspot feature a few months a year. While using Verizon and my smartphone I a probably spending a few extra dollars/year, but the convenience is worth it for me.
