Necessary to ground satellite dish on tripod?

Thanks to this forum I have .......... (modest cough)............ successfully set up Slimline dish on tripod! However, one big question remains. Do I need to ground the setup? If so, how?

When I set my tripod up I have three huge nails about 10 inches long that I drive into the ground.

Grounding the satellite dish on the house is required for the possibility of a lightning strike. If lightning is going to strike around your camper, the camper, itself, is the most likely to get hit. Don't worry about it.
