First report using my new WINEGARD RAZAR antenna with 2 amplifiers cranked up to full power (20 dB attenuation) .
We are camped in Amana, Iowa. Around 6:00 AM with clear skies. I basicly scanned in two directions to cover 360 degrees.
My current range is metro-areas in a 90 mile circle around current location. That is 90 miles in any direction aimed from here. I noticed that this antenna picks up high UHF channels at a greater range than the old wing. No problems so far for VHF either.
The antenna worked fine laying on the deck (horizontal) for 50+ mile range. I would like to remind everyone that this is our first good vertical antenna that can also be rotated to horizontal or left angled (0 to 90 degrees back or 90 to 180 degrees front) . I have to be very careful where it is being lowered on the roof.
