new hd antenna
want to upgrade old winegard antenna with hd antenna on my 05 heartland landmark. considering the king digital hdtv 0A8200. anyone with experience with the antenna & installation or any other sugges...

This morning I checked channels stored in TV from previous day. Antenna in stored position.
I left the 2nd amplifier turned off. The Winegard amplifier still found 24 of the originals stored. Channel found were within 53 miles of my location. The missing channels were from transmitters 65 to 90 miles from here.
The Winegard Razar sits horizontal about 2 inches above the roof. The Jack sits about 4 inches above roof for non -rising model.
It looks like the new Razar can meet the Jack range if you happen to forget to raise it if the RV just happens to be aimed within 90 degrees of the correct direction, and you remember to turn on the amplifier.
