I meant 20 decibles amplification. 10 decibles from the Winegard plus 10 decibles from the R.S. adjustable amplifier (2 to 10 decibles) . When unplugged (no on / off switch) the in - line amplifier passes though Whinegard signal.
I use the old fashion way of turning antenna sideways if too close to a transmitter. I have not had that happen for many years when camping.
