I noticed that this antenna picks up high UHF channels at a greater range than the old wing. No problems so far for VHF either.
The antenna worked fine laying on the deck (horizontal) for 50+ mile range. I would like to remind everyone that this is our first good vertical antenna that can also be rotated to horizontal or left angled (0 to 90 degrees back or 90 to 180 degrees front) . I have to be very careful where it is being lowered on the roof.
I have had the rayzar for several months now and it is nice to know that I am not the only one that have had these results.
Just a while back I was setting up camp and TV and was distracted during set up and when I returned and run the scan I was happy with the results,Then I walked outside and :S saw that I had not raised the mast and the antenna was still flat on the roof.
