Original Poster here - I decided to install the updates that are available today on my sister's home network. Then I set up my cell phone hotspot as a metered connection on the wifi list so that future updates would not be updated. Once I get to another campground with good (free) wi-fi again, I will connect using their wifi and resume loading any new updates. It sure was easier when I had unlimited home internet access.
