So if I want to move it a bit if I have trouble with the 110 channels do I have to unplug again or can I just move it and let it go looking again?

And I didn't get the adapter, ordered it today so I've got it plugged into my truck. Can I leave it plugged in all evening (will unplug before bed) -- will it affect my truck batteries?
